Lookin' good shorty! So funny - I think about you every time I am at the gym and tell myself "Teri is kickin' ass right now too!" I tried your recommendation with the stairmaster (1 min hard / 2 min recovery) and I have never sweated so quickly and so intensely IN MY LIFE! I have a *new* love/hate relationship with that damn machine and can't make it past 20 minutes. Not sure how you did 40 but I completely salute you!! Keep up the great work mama, cuz it is definitely showing!!
BTW - in response to your "rant" post - I commend you for standing your ground. What I have learned is that negativity comes from a darker place. If people are being negative towards you and what you are achieving, its because they themselves are unhappy with who they are the what they are unable to accomplish in their own life. Keep at it and don't let others bring you down. *Friends* are the only relationships in our lives that we have complete control over (as opposed to family) and because of that they should be the easiest, most fun and stress-free of all. If your "friends" are judging your choices then they don't belong in that category! There are enough of us around to fill in the minimal gaps left by them once you "kick 'em to the curb." Keep your chin up (above that pull-up bar) and move onward and upward (on the endless stairmaster). :)
Thanks Lisa, Carrie no pig tails. I know ghetto right?! Crooked pig tails. I gotta do something about this hairstyle. Half of my life is spent in the gym and I look ghetto the whole time I am there in pig tails. I just like it all fixed short, but I think I am gonna grow it til the show.... then take a vote on leaving it longer or chopping it right before. BECAUSE I KNOW PEOPLE REALLY REALLY CARE ABOUT MY HAIR>
Lisa, you remind me of a couple best friends I have. I am so sorry that it has taken me this long to meet you because I really really like you and I think we will be great friends. Thanks for building me up. Its a hard world out there sometimes and the more people we have rooting for us, in all areas of life, the better we are. Thanks for being there for me.
And, I commented on your blog before I saw this. And I invited myself on you and Kamis girls night, if your hubs aren't going. And I feel less weird about it now that I read this. But it is still kinda weird. hahahah
You rock that stairmaster girl like its no ones biznass!!! I sometimes sing on it, in my head, like this "this biznatch is mine." to the tune of the girl is mine. Don't know the name of the song I am so random. And I also swear a lot on it too.
