I am starting a weight loss blog for anyone that might be interested!I am a weight watcher at heart, but can't really afford the 10 dollars a week to go back and weigh in every week.So I am starting this, http://poundpinching2010.blogspot.com/
I thought it would be fun if anyone else was interested, to do a little pot luck for pound pinching. If anyone wants to join, we could each put 5 bucks into the pot and start Januar1,2010 or as soon after aspossible-- go through the end of February...and whoever lost the largest percentage of weight would win the pot. I would buy some new jeans if I won, but you could buy anything or do whatever you wanted with it. (for example if a 150 pound person lost 15 pounds that would be 10 percent of their starting body weight)
I am back to counting points, getting back to the gym, and am temporarily cutting out all sweets from my diet. I have already cut out caffeinated soda. I'm not sure how long I will last with no sweets, but I guess I will see how it goes. It's been 3.5 days and it is HARD!I know some people want to start dieting because it's the new year, that is partly why I want to, but also because I just had a big baby! It is time to get back into my old clothes so I actually have something to wear again, and so I can feel confident and have my body strong again.I have set up some rewards for myself along the way, something weight watchers taught me.
When I have lost ten pounds I have a 75 dollar gift card at Maurices to spend.When I can run two miles straight, Jared said I can get new running shoes.
Anyway, if you are reading this and you know me, or don't know me and just came across my blog today, make a comment. We can do our weight loss together. I am probably going to keep PoundPinching as a journal thing, and will chart all of our progress on here each Friday to help motivate us! The more people the merrier, the healthier we are, and the more money that's in the pot up for grabs!

For the competition, I would want everyone to email me their weekly results and record it on there. The weigh in day will be every Friday, morning is when you weigh the least so that's what I would reccomend. Last Friday afternoon I weighed 165. WOW! That's sooo hard to type! I have lost a little already because that was Christmas, and I had eaten like a crazy woman... but I will be excited to see what this Friday, the first day of the new year brings on the scale!
